Regional Sales Manager – Operating Theatre Lighting Equipment
Salary: GBP45,000 – GBP55,000 per annum

Autonomous role working across theatre lights, controls and battery storage. Ideal for a project‑based technical sales candidate. UK manufacturer with a focus on sustainability and quality, pursuing exciting growth following a recent acquisition. The role includes business development, project management and training.
The Company
The position is tailored for a sales professional, either an up‑and‑comer with a technical bias or an experienced project‑sales lead wanting to work within the medical sector. Responsibilities include identifying and winning new NHS tenders for lighting refits and installations of theatre suites, collaborating with architects, project engineers, contractors, clinical directors and procurement. A solid base of existing projects is in the pipeline, with significant opportunity to expand presence across other clinical departments and win new tenders in London and the South‑East.

A recent acquisition by a European medical group will strengthen the offering in 2025 and grow UK manufacturing capabilities. Structured training and induction are provided, and the company looks for driven clinical sales professionals.
The Role
Mix of sales, presenting solutions, tender work, trials and longer‑term projects. Full training will be delivered; technical sales experience is beneficial. Daily contact with the wider team is encouraged to foster collaboration with other divisions.
Responsibilities
* Identify and win new NHS tenders for lighting refits and theatre suite installations.
* Work with architects, project engineers, contractors, clinical directors, procurement and hospital staff.
* Manage projects and maintain a long pipeline of opportunities.
* Travel daily across London and Southern home counties, with occasional overnight stays.
* Present solutions to Theatre Managers, Clinical Directors, Consultants, Procurement, NHS Estates staff, Electrical Engineers, Project Managers and Architects.
* Collaborate with the wider team and other divisions to grow sales.
Qualifications
* Minimum 12 months of external sales experience, ideally in a technical environment or on projects.
* Experience selling electrical or mechanical‑led products or solutions is advantageous but not essential.
* Strong administrative, organisational and territory‑planning skills; patience and resilience to handle a long sales cycle.
* Full driving licence and willingness to travel daily.
Package
* Bonus: paid on performance at the end of year 1.
* Home‑based role with daily driving across the South‑East of England.
