The successful candidate will be highly motivated and fully prepared to undertake the demands of working in one of the UK’s leading independent coeducational day and boarding schools.
Key Responsibilities
* To teach speech and drama to individual students or small groups of students, choosing pieces of work that are appropriate for those particular students
* To prepare students for LAMDA exams where appropriate, covering all aspects of the exam content
* To prepare students for speech and drama festivals and other performances (externally or internally)
* To maintain records of pupils’ progress and write reports for students
* To liaise with the Head of Drama and colleagues to construct the weekly timetable and communicate lessons to pupils
* To assist with school productions where appropriate
* To attend necessary training sessions or undertake online training, as required
* To undertake appropriate administrative duties to support the operational needs of the department
