The role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide essential support to children across the school, helping them access the curriculum, achieve their potential, and develop key life skills.
Key responsibilities:
Support pupils with special educational needs in class and during activities
Assist with learning tasks and personal development
Implement personalised support plans and strategies
Encourage independence, confidence, and social interaction
Monitor and report on pupil progress
Support teachers and staff in maintaining a structured and positive learning environment
What we’re looking for:
Experience working with children with SEN or additional needs
Knowledge of behaviour strategies and personalised learning approaches
Patient, proactive, and adaptable attitude
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply
