We are looking for a Grants & Trusts Officer to join our team. The role is full-time and permanent. You'll be on a permanent/fixed term, full time basis, working 36 hours per week.

Grants play a crucial role at English Heritage. The post-holder will be responsible for high quality grants planning, administration and reporting to the National Lottery Heritage Fund, Arts Council England, Historic England and other statutory and private grant-making bodies, ensuring robust and accurate internal and external stakeholder stewardship.

The Grants & Trusts Officer will be responsible for updating and aligning processes and templates to streamline the grant planning and management process. The successful candidate will be confident working with internal and external stakeholders to source necessary data and ensure integration with other departments' information management and reporting procedures.

You will be self-motivated and capable of using your own initiative to achieve agreed goals. You will also have exceptional attention to detail and be confident managing data, working with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, and coordinating multiple projects.

The Fundraising Department work collaboratively acting as ambassadors for the wider charity

As Grants & Trusts Officer you will lead on key statutory funder reporting and stewardship whilst managing a small portfolio of grants and trusts prospects, developing high-quality proposals and securing 4 and 5-figure gifts.

To be considered as a Grants & Trusts Officer, you'll need:

- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to communicate with individuals at different levels

- Experience of communicating with internal and external stakeholders

- Strong organisational skills; ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritise competing deadlines

- Ability to work autonomously, managing workload proactively and efficiently
