The Science department is a large, well-equipped faculty with modern laboratories and a collaborative teaching team. As Head of Science, you will be responsible for strategic planning, curriculum development across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and ensuring strong outcomes at GCSE and A Level. You will lead departmental improvement, support staff development, and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a Science discipline
• Experience teaching Science at secondary level
• Proven leadership experience or readiness to lead a department
• Strong understanding of GCSE and A Level Science specifications
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to student achievement and staff development
