A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and engaging Latin Teacher to join a busy and well respected school in North London / South Herts to teach students in KS 3 and 4 Latin. With ample parking and accessible routes from London, this is part:time role offering the chance to inspire young linguists and contribute to an outstanding department.
Start Date: 2nd September 2026 Assignment Length: 1x Term Salary: Equivalent to MPS London Fringe Working Hours: 0.6 between Monday to Friday, 8:30am : 4pm Location: Watford, Hertfordshire (Commutable from Radlett, Bushey, and Borehamwood) Facilities: Exceptional Humanities department in a traditional school set within beautiful surroundings
About the Role:
As a Latin Teacher , you will:
Deliver engaging and high:quality Latin lessons to students in Year 7 to foster a love for classical languages and culture. Support students in developing their understanding of Latin grammar, vocabulary, and translation skills. Incorporate elements of Roman history, mythology, and literature to provide a broader cultural context. Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular clubs and enrichment activities. Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain the schools high academic standards.
