Location: Rosyth, Fife (Hybrid - 3 days on-site)
Contract: Approx. 9 months (ASAP start)
Hours: 36 hrs a week | Mon-Fri, 4.5 days - half day Friday
Pay: £250 - £400 per day
Security Clearance: SC required
Overview
Opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join a major defence engineering programme supporting large-scale shipbuilding projects. You'll work closely with operational teams to provide financial insight, support decision-making, and improve processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with stakeholders to monitor performance and provide financial insight
* Deliver budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting
* Build and maintain financial models and ensure controls are in place
* Support internal and external audits
* Drive process improvements and efficiencies
Requirements (Essential)
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
* 2-5 years' post-qualified experience (PQE)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Good communication and stakeholder engagement
* Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
Desirable Experience
* Defence, nuclear, or xxuwjjq large infrastructure project experience
