Analyst, Reporting & Analytics - EMEA role at Coherent Corp.
Position Summary: Serve as a trusted advisor delivering actionable insights and advanced workforce analytics to inform strategic decisions across EMEA. This role blends data management, reporting excellence, and forward-looking analytics to elevate employee experience and drive operational performance. You will help lay the foundations for data-driven HR practices, from predictive analytics to intuitive self-service dashboards.
Responsibilities
Data Reporting & Visualization
* Develop, validate, and distribute interactive HR dashboards, KPI scorecards, and compliance reports for HR Operations, COEs, and leadership.
* Design data visualizations that tell compelling stories, help stakeholders grasp insights quickly.
Advanced Analytics
* Analyze and model workforce trends (e.g., attrition, engagement, productivity) and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
* Support scenario modeling, forecasting, and predictive analytics to anticipate future workforce needs.
* Evaluate the impact of HR programs and policies using statistical and advanced analytics techniques.
Data Integrity & Governance
* Maintain data accuracy and consistency across HR systems, working proactively to resolve discrepancies.
* Uphold data privacy and security standards in line with internal policies and regional regulations.
System Enablement
* Partner with HRIS and IT teams to optimize reporting capabilities in the HCM platform (e.g., Oracle).
* Champion the adoption of self-service analytics tools, training stakeholders to access and interpret reports independently.
Stakeholder Collaboration
* Consult with COEs, Strategic HRBPs, and business leaders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver analytics that drive decisions.
* Provide ad hoc reporting and deep-dive analyses to support strategic initiatives.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
* Develop and maintain SOPs, job aids, and documentation for all reporting processes.
* Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and new reporting standards.
* Stay current on HR analytics trends and emerging technologies, proposing innovative approaches that position Coherent as a data-driven organization.
Education
* Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, and/or CIPD qualification preferred although other related fields may be considered.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in HR analytics, workforce reporting, or data analysis in a global or regional environment.
* Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) and advanced Excel.
* Strong data visualization and storytelling skills.
* Hands-on experience with HCM systems (Oracle, SAP, Workday).
* Familiarity with statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, Python) is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills with a passion for translating data into clear insights.
