We are looking for an experienced Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative to ensure the smooth running of the Distribution Centre and acting as a champion for customer service and business improvement. Aligning with the company's strategic objectives, you will support the responsibility for the performance of the Distribution Centre: Workflow, Employee development, support of physical resources and Health & Safety compliance.
The successful candidate will be a hands-on person, able to delegate effectively and promote good team working.
As a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative with Kooltech, you will:
* Deliver goods to our customers at most efficient and professional manner.
* Pick, pack, prepare and load vehicles using forklift truck and other mechanical equipment.
* Support efficient planning and execution of delivery schedules; minimizing transport and carriage costs whilst maintaining high levels of customer service.
* Ensure complicity with Health and Safety regulations.
* Ensure that delivery routes are planned as efficiently as possible.
* Make sure that the correct processes are followed to reduce the risk of failed deliveries.
* Work with the Driver/Warehouse staff to make sure delivery vehicles are maintained to company standards.
* Ensure that product stock remains within pre-defined minimum and maximum levels; stock wastage is kept to a minimum and that aged stock is cleared in line with company policy.
* Ensure cyclic checks and full stock-audits are executed in line with company procedures.
* Ensure the good housekeeping of the warehouse and trade counter area.
* Maintain and constantly strive to improve Kooltech's high standards of customer service.

* Possess knowledge of stock rotation and driver checks/reports.
* Are able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
