We are founder‑led, ambitious and scaling fast. The right candidate will have a clear path to Marketing Director and the opportunity to build their own team.
Role Overview
This is a hands‑on, strategic Head of Marketing role. You will own the marketing function end‑to‑end: set strategy, execute campaigns, measure performance, optimise conversion and drive revenue.
You will lead a small team, manage external partners, and work directly with the MD to align marketing with commercial targets. This is not a purely managerial role — you will be expected to roll up your sleeves and deliver.

Key ResponsibilitiesGrowth & Channel Execution
* Own and optimise the website (WordPress + Elementor); run CRO tests and improve conversion rates across service pages, landing pages and e‑commerce funnels
* Lead SEO strategy (technical, on‑page, local, service queries) and content roadmap
* Plan, execute and optimise PPC and paid media (Google Ads, remarketing, display; bring in‑house over time)
* Build and run email marketing and automation (Mailchimp or equivalent): onboarding, abandoned cart, product follow‑ups, newsletters
* Manage e‑commerce performance: Stripe checkout, funnels, AOV optimisation, repeat hire flows
* Create high‑converting content: landing pages, case studies, product pages, lead magnets, video briefs
* Use Lead Forensics and CRM data to identify high‑value leads and support sales conversion
Analytics, Systems & Measurement
* Build dashboards in GA4 and BI tools; implement conversion tracking, attribution modelling and CRM integration
* Track and report on ROAS, CAC, LTV, MQL→SQL conversion rates, pipeline contribution and marketing‑influenced revenue
* Use data to prioritise channels and optimise spend; recommend budget allocation
Brand, Sales Enablement & Comms
* Strengthen brand positioning and messaging across channels
* Produce sales collateral, brochures, case studies, video assets and trade show materials
* Support sales with lead scoring, nurturing flows and enablement materials
Leadership & Operations
* Line‑manage and mentor junior marketing staff; manage external agencies and freelancers
* Own marketing budget and vendor contracts; propose and manage annual marketing plan and budget
* Coordinate with operations and sales to align lead generation with service capacity and delivery
* Ensure GDPR and sector compliance for marketing data and communications
Required Experience & SkillsMust Have
* 4+ years in senior marketing or growth roles with direct ownership of results and demonstrable revenue impact
* Hands‑on experience with WordPress + Elementor, including site speed, UX and plugin management
* Experience managing e‑commerce and Stripe checkout flows
* Practical experience with Mailchimp, GA4, Google Ads, SEO and CRO
* Familiarity with Lead Forensics or similar intent tools and ability to operationalise them with sales
* Proven track record in B2B lead generation and commercial marketing
* Strong analytics skills: attribution, CAC/LTV modelling and dashboarding
* Exceptional attention to detail, strong visual sense for imagery and UX, and ability to deliver pixel‑perfect creative
* Comfortable executing work personally and leading a small team; experience mentoring junior staff
* Commercial mindset and data‑driven decision making
Nice to Have
* CRM experience (HubSpot or Salesforce) and marketing automation integration
* Video production experience or in‑house production management
* Sector experience in industrial cleaning for manufacturing, logistics or food

These Year 1 outcomes establish the baseline for scale and form the foundation for the Year 2 performance plan.
Year 2 Bonus Structure
A Year 2 performance bonus will be introduced and agreed during the interview process.
