Role Overview

The eCommerce Lead (Dutch speaking) will be responsible for growing our F1 business in the Netherlands, overseeing and enhancing our e-commerce operations, driving online sales, and improving the customer experience. This role involves owning the trading and marketing calendars, managing daily operations, and executing strategic initiatives to achieve business objectives and deliver outstanding results.

How you will make a difference

* Operational Oversight: Oversee daily eCommerce operations and trading including content management, product launch execution, site merchandising and promotional management. Ensure all processes run efficiently and effectively.
* Strategy Execution: Implement eCommerce strategies and initiatives to drive traffic, increase conversions, and maximise online sales. Collaborate with the E-Commerce Director to align with overall business goals.
* Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, average order value, and customer retention. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimise performance.
* Customer Experience: Ensure a superior online shopping experience by managing website functionality, user interface, and product presentation. Address customer feedback and resolve issues promptly to enhance satisfaction.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, merchandising, technology, operations and customer support teams to ensure a cohesive approach to e-commerce. Coordinate efforts to launch promotions, new products, and site improvements.
* Project Management: Lead and manage e-commerce projects, including site updates, technology enhancements, and promotional campaigns. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
* Market Research: Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies. Apply insights to improve e-commerce strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
* Partner Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day eCommerce operations with our partners. Work with partners to develop strong, coordinated trading plans and marketing calendars to successfully grow the business.

What you bring to the team

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, eCommerce, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
* 5+ years of experience in e-commerce management or a related field, with a proven track record of driving online sales and managing e-commerce operations.
* Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams.
* Proficiency in e-commerce platforms, web analytics tools, and digital marketing strategies.
* Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
* Strong project management abilities, with experience in overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with stakeholders at all levels.
* Experience in the sports or retail industry is advantageous.
