We have a permanent part-time 0.5 FTE opening for an Early Childhood Development Speech-Language Pathologist (ECD SLP) in Nelson, B.C. Speech-Language Pathology services are offered Monday through Friday. We are open to discussing the preferred work schedule with the successful candidate.

About the position:
The ECD SLP works with children aged birth to school entry from diverse cultural backgrounds and their families. Responsibilities include screening, assessment, intervention, coaching, and education in speech, language, and communication. The role involves collaboration with professionals from the Ministry of Children & Family Development, Ministry of Education, and community organizations.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be creative in supporting clients’ goals, and be able to work effectively as part of a team, communicating and resolving conflicts respectfully.
