About the role
The main purpose of this role is to provide administrative and operational support to the Fundraising Team, helping to maintain and grow income to support our purpose to improve mental health in Hampshire.
You will act as first point of contact for fundraising enquiries and play a key role in delivering excellent supporter stewardship, including arranging fundraiser resources and ensuring all donors are thanked appropriately.
You will also oversee accurate income recording and reporting through our CRM system and lead monthly financial reconciliations to ensure all fundraising income is correctly allocated.
Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, this role is within Solent Mind’s fundraising and external engagement team, and the successful candidate will provide a range of support activities including research, event coordination, and managing stock and collection pots to ensure smooth operations.
About you
You will have experience of administration processes and co-ordinating multiple office and administrative functions, ideally within a fundraising or target-driven environment. You will also be experienced in data entry and maintaining accurate records using CRM systems.
You will have strong planning and organisational skills and excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences. You will also have advanced numeracy skills. You will be proficient in Microsoft Office and, ideally, have used Canva or similar design tools.
Due to the nature of this role, some evening and weekend working will be required with TOIL given. You will also need a valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle for business use.
