Working independently across customer sites, you'll ensure engineering work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with industry regulations while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities include: Installing and maintaining gas storage and distribution assets at customer locations Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities Responding to emergency call-outs as part of a standby rota Travelling across the region to support a predominantly rural customer base Ensuring all work complies with relevant safety legislation and industry standards Providing excellent customer service and technical support Accurately completing documentation and engineering records Supporting continuous improvement and safe working practices Maintaining company equipment, vehicles and tools Working closely with colleagues and operational teams to deliver service excellence ESSENTIAL SKILLS ACS Gas Qualified Previous experience within a Gas Engineer, Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer, LPG Engineer, Heating Engineer, Utilities Engineer or similar engineering role Strong understanding of health, safety and compliance requirements Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Flexible approach to standby and emergency response requirements Strong problem-solving and fault-finding abilities Full UK driving licence essential Knowledge of LPG systems would be advantageous but is not essential as full training can be provided KEY SKILLS Ex-Military, Gas Engineer, Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer, LPG Engineer, Utilities Engineer, ACS, Engineering, Maintenance, Installation, Health & Safety, Customer Service, REME, Royal Engineers, Royal Navy Engineering Technician, RAF Engineering Technician
