About the Role
The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of all aspects of the Poultry Production Department, including:
1. Organizing and planning production for the poultry department daily.
2. Ensuring all orders are produced to the correct specifications.
3. Completing stock rotation and managing short-dated products.
4. Labeling all finished products and work-in-progress for traceability with GRNs and batch codes.
5. Maintaining accurate production records.
6. Adhering to all health and safety policies and quality standards.
7. Following allergen controls.
8. Keeping the poultry area, tumbling room, and seasoning areas clean and tidy.
9. Training staff within the poultry department.
10. Managing holiday shift patterns in coordination with the Factory Manager to ensure adequate staffing.
11. Liaising with HR regarding attendance, absences, and compliance with company policies on discipline and grievances.

Additional Information
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:00-16:00. Flexibility may be required to meet business needs.
No formal qualifications are required. Full training will be provided. Supervisory or management experience in a fast-paced operations or production environment, along with staff supervision experience, is advantageous.
Experience with poultry or meat products is also beneficial.
