About the Role
* Supervise Assistant Technical Officers on a day‑to‑day basis, ensuring timely and high‑quality provision of specialised decontamination services.
* Oversee the reprocessing of reusable medical devices and mattresses, including cleaning, disinfection, assembly, sterilisation, and tracking.
* Liaise with user departments and staff to meet patient and service requirements.
* Maintain compliance with departmental Standard Operating Procedures and the Quality Management System.
* Plan and organise daily workloads, staff rotas, and on‑call schedules.
* Support staff training, development, and performance reviews in collaboration with the Team Leader and Manager.
