This is a hybrid position with approx 1 day per week in the Cheltenham office and with some travel to visit clients. Requirements as Senior Business Development Manager A proven track record of exceeding sales targets within a B2B environment, with a strong preference of selling into UK or Nordic tier 1 retailers. You will have ideally sold hardware into those retail clients You are experienced in building and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospective clients Confident and experienced in prospecting new clients through phone, email, social media and other channels Demonstrable experience in managing the sales process with senior stakeholders within the business Responsibilities as Senior Business Development Manager 1. Deliver on sales targets and expand our UK market share Deliver sales orders in line with, or above, quarterly targets set by the business Develop a live, accurate and detailed pipeline of UK opportunities within our identified retail sectors (100 stores in grocery, fashion and home/diy) on Hubspot Continuously produce and execute roll-out plans for each project, for both new and existing customers Build, nurture and foster relationships with operational, managerial and executive level personnel, ensuring key stakeholders are identified for the accounts team before handing over Identify and show pain, budget and decision-makers for every live opportunity you are working on Consistently and accurately forecast your projects to a 90% level of accuracy Your Hubspot is updated daily, leaving it 100% accurate at the end of each working day with all of your projects/opportunities Work closely with the Account Manager to seamlessly pick up and execute new projects with their customers, ensuring they are up to date and in the loop ready for it to return as BAU Consistently show skills of business creation and sales consulting in both new and existing opportunities 2. Strong contract and negotiation skills Lead the build of a clear and concise SoW that can be negotiated between the customer and VoCoVo, with help from the Head of Sales Work closely with the Head of Sales and our legal team to agree contracts, terms and conditions and statements of works, ensuring VoCoVo is protected in line with our risk matrix before final executive sign off Confidently negotiate with customers by consistently showing skills of adult : child negotiation 3.
