The Role
As Workshop Supervisor, you'll coordinate and support a team of workshop engineers while ensuring all repairs and maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You’ll be the go‑to person for guidance, planning, and quality control, setting the tone for a productive and positive workshop environment.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
* Supervising and supporting engineers and learners across all workshop levels
* Overseeing the repair and overhaul of electric motors, pumps, and gearboxes
* Allocating workloads, monitoring progress, and ensuring deadlines are met
* Leading by example with strong standards in quality, safety, and professionalism
* Providing structured mentoring, training, and on‑the‑job guidance
* Managing attendance, performance, and team discipline
* Ensuring efficient use of labour and materials to meet production plans
* Maintaining workshop equipment, tools, and facilities
* Upholding strict health & safety procedures and encouraging best practices
* Being available for call‑out or overtime when required
