Your Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:
12. Collaborate with children individually or in small groups to enhance their learning.
13. Serve as a positive role model for both students and colleagues.
14. Foster positive relationships with children and their families.
15. Collaborate with fellow staff members, including specialists.
16. Assist the class teacher in resource preparation and activity setup.
Responsibilities:
17. Help prepare a lesson and tidy the classroom afterwards
18. Provide assistance with lesson plans
19. Support children across the curriculum
20. Give extra support to children with special needs
21. Help mark work
22. Report student progress
23. Help look after the children during school trips and activities
24. Look after children that are unwell
25. Attend meetings
26. Confidence in guiding individuals or small groups.
27. A positive attitude and effective communication skills.
Essential requirements:
28. Experience working with young people
29. Class management skills
30. Comfortable managing challenging behaviour
31. Able to engage with and motivate children
