About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, youll play a vital part in supporting pupils learning, wellbeing, and personal growth. Working alongside experienced teachers and specialists, youll help create a nurturing environment where every child feels safe, understood, and encouraged to succeed.
You will:
* Work closely with pupils to guide and support their learning journeys
* Assist teachers in delivering creative, engaging, and inclusive lessons
* Prepare learning materials and lead small group or one-to-one activities
* Support pupils emotional, social, and physical development
* Encourage independence, confidence, and active participation in learning
* Contribute to both classroom-based and outdoor learning experiences
* Foster a positive, respectful, and nurturing environment where every child feels valued

What Were Looking For
Wed love to hear from candidates who:
* Hold GCSEs (Grade C/4 or above) in English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications)
* Have experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school or SEN setting
* Are adaptable, compassionate, and proactive in their approach
* Enjoy working as part of a collaborative, supportive team
* Are confident supporting both structured learning and creative, outdoor activities
* Are motivated by a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of young people with additional needs
