Location: Southampton or remote, with regular travel to Southampton

Salary: £40,000-45,000 depending on experience

About the Role
We are seeking a talented and versatile Creative Content & Design Specialist to take responsibility for the creation, development and copy of all corporate marketing assets. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how JS Group is seen and heard across all touchpoints.
This role covers a wide variety of outputs from sales collateral packs, brochures, slide decks, and annual reports, to brand guidelines, leaflets, social media assets, staff newsletters, and website design. Experience with video content creation and editing would be a significant advantage.
Alongside strong design skills, you will also contribute clear, compelling written content to ensure all materials, digital and print, communicate our messages with impact and consistency.
Your work will add clarity and impact to our messaging, helping to present data and complex information in accessible, visually engaging ways that support our growth ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
* Create and develop high‑quality marketing assets including brochures, slide decks, sales collateral packs, annual reports, and brand guidelines.
* Write and edit clear, engaging copy for marketing materials, social media, newsletters, and other assets, ensuring consistency with our tone of voice and brand messaging.
* Design engaging digital assets such as social media graphics, staff newsletters, and web visuals.
* Support the development of visual identities and templates that reflect and strengthen the JS Group brand.
* Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to ensure all assets, visual and written, are aligned to campaign objectives and brand standards.
* Present complex data and key messages in clear, impactful visual and written formats.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering to agreed timelines and specifications.
* Where possible, produce and edit video content to support marketing campaigns and storytelling.
* Stay current with design trends and proactively suggest creative ideas to elevate our brand presence.
Qualifications & Experience
·Proven experience as a marketing or corporate designer, ideally within a B2B or education‑focused environment.
·Demonstrable copywriting skills with experience crafting messaging for marketing collateral, web, and social media.
·Expertise in design software (Adobe Creative Suite or similar) with a strong portfolio demonstrating a range of collateral.
·Ability to interpret data and messages visually in a clear and engaging manner.
·Experience creating digital and print assets, with video editing skills an advantage.
·Knowledge of brand management and developing visual identities.
·Experience of web design and working with web developers to deliver digital content is advantageous.
·Collaborative, detail‑oriented, and able to work flexibly in a fast‑paced environment.
