Overview
A growing, independently run building services consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Mechanical (or Electrical) Engineer to support project delivery and play a key role in mentoring junior staff. With 25-30 engineers, the business has built a strong reputation delivering refurbishment-focused projects across a range of sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Support project delivery and take ownership of projects.
* Contribute to design delivery and maintain a strong mechanical (or electrical) design focus.
* Mentor and support graduate-level and less experienced engineers on a day-to-day basis.
* Help strengthen in-office team culture.
* Engage with projects such as prison refurbishments, fire alarm upgrades, rail-related schemes, and education sector projects.
Qualifications
* Experienced engineer with a mechanical bias (preferred), but strong electrical engineers will also be considered.
* Ability to take ownership of projects and contribute to design delivery.
* Willingness to mentor, support, and develop junior staff.
* Strong technical capability in building services design.
