Role: Test Analyst - Core Banking Transformation

Salary: £55,000 per annum
Our client, a leading financial services organisation, is seeking a hands-on Test Analyst to join their Core Banking Transformation programme. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys understanding business processes and outcomes, not just system behaviour, and wants to contribute to the quality of business-critical systems during the final stages of the programme.
Key Responsibilities
1. Execute system, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across core banking and associated platforms
2. Validate end-to-end payment flows, including Faster Payments and Direct Debits
3. Test financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger (GL) postings
4. Log, track, and support resolution of defects, providing business context during triage
5. Retest fixes to ensure issues are resolved in line with expected business outcomes
6. Maintain structured test evidence, traceability, and documentation
7. Support interpretation of business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios
