CIS Security have a super exciting opportunity available for a Corporate Security Response Officer who will be an ambassador to represent CIS Security and the Customer by demonstrating and delivering high quality guarding and customer service to both our customers and service users across two City of London’s landmarks. Information: Position: Corporate Security Response Officer Location: City of London Pay Rate: £14.05 per hour Hours: Average 36 hours per week Shifts: Various Shifts - Days, Nights & Weekends Job Requirements: SIA Licence is required to work within the security industry. Corporate Security experience for at least 1 year would of course be an advantage. Must be Reliable, Flexible, Responsible and Punctual. Must also be able to work the rostered pattern, covering days, nights, and weekends. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. An understand of good customer care. Good IT Skills (as all posts require IT use). Have a friendly, professional, positive, and can-do attitude. To take pride in your appearance at all times, ensuring immaculate presentation. Able to work in a team as well as on your own. Have the ability to be pro-active and think on your feet and use your own initiative. Able to carry out internal and external patrols as required. Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site. Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requested. Duties & Responsibilities: Vehicular and pedestrian access control in the loading bay area. Arranging parking for visitors Signing in cleaners, couriers, contractors, delivery drivers and visitors. Internal car-park and external plaza patrols. Checking permit information. Carry out emergency processes. May be asked to assist in the post room or the Front of House area. Provide escorts for visitors and contractors if and when required. Must be able to work with a team. Able to demonstrate and deliver high quality Security professionalism. Able to provide great customer service to both our customers and service users. Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations. To help create and maintain a professional environment which is recognised by the customer, tenants, and visitors for constantly providing an outstanding service. Help develop a strong staff and customer rapport, by being available to listen, to assist and to support wherever possible and to react appropriately and promptly to either staff or customer concerns. To comply with all required systems and protocols including Security Assignment Instructions, emergency procedures and SOPs as stipulated by the building owners and management team. To comply with any administration or reporting processes requested by the ROH Manager, Duty Shift Manager, Security Manager, Assistant Security Manager, the Building Manager, or the customer. To assist the Security Shift Manager in keeping this contract in compliance with all relevant governmental laws, SIA, data protection and Health and safety requirements To be able to take responsibility and make decisions when required, being a role model and inspiration to others within the team. To assist the team to deliver a secure, friendly, and sustainable environment. To help ensure that all weekend checks are carried out weekly both dayshifts and nightshifts. To help ensure that all handovers are compiled and submitted as appropriate and that everything is in place and correct. To ensure that all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, providing an exceptional customer service at all times ensuring that their expectations are met, if not exceeded.
