Position Summary;
The Director of Client Accounting manages the firm’s monthly billing and projections processes. This position promotes collaboration by directing workflows between the various accounting segments. The director engineers a career trajectory for their team by establishing clear pathways for growth and opportunities for skill enhancement.
As a Director of Client Accounting you will:
1. Oversee the workflow and performance of the billing team, including providing ongoing performance feedback and participating in the annual staff performance evaluation process
2. Cultivate a culture of collaboration in order to unify the department
3. Responsible for approving all assigned expense reports
4. Collaborate with the Senior Director of Client Accounting to establish and implement standard operating procedures and departmental policies
5. Manage and assess process improvement plans and projects to ensure the completion of milestones
6. Provide ongoing insight into monthly billing performance by measuring key performance indicators
7. Create training platform for our billing specialists so they understand all duties for their role
Job Specifications:
8. Bachelor’s degree in a related field
9. At least ten () years of related work experience
10. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word)
11. Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis concepts, frameworks, and principles
12. Strong written and verbal communication skills
13. Strong project management and organizational skills
14. Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
15. Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
