The Role
Following expansion, we seek to recruit a technically motivated and customer-focused Field Service Engineer responsible for:
1. Servicing and repairing a wide range of sophisticated medical and laboratory diagnostic systems used in pathology departments, NHS laboratories, and clinical chemistry environments.
2. Visiting customer sites to troubleshoot and provide solutions.
3. Interacting with external contacts, including laboratory managers and technicians within the NHS and private scientific organizations.
Your Background
To succeed in this role, you should demonstrate:
* A competent background as a field service or technical support engineer with experience working on high-value capital equipment and a qualification in electronics.
* Experience with diagnostic systems, medical devices, laboratory systems, scientific equipment, or high-value electronic/electromechanical equipment is preferred.
* Full product training will be provided, so candidates from various backgrounds in field service and customer support are encouraged to apply.
