Role Overview: As the Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will lead the classroom with enthusiasm, creativity, and a dedication to providing quality education to our students. Facilitating engaging and immersive lessons, you will inspire a love for learning while addressing the unique needs of Key Stage 2 students. In Year 6, SATs preparation will be a priority during exam season.
Responsibilities:
* Take the helm as the head of the classroom, designing and delivering dynamic lesson plans tailored to the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
* Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that prioritizes the social, emotional, and academic development of every student.
* Collaborate closely with colleagues to implement effective teaching methodologies and support the diverse needs of Key Stage 2 learners.
* Engage students in interactive classroom activities that promote participation, enthusiasm, and a thirst for knowledge.
* Develop strong partnerships with parents, guardians, and fellow professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each student's educational journey.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Hold relevant qualifications and experience in Primary Education, with a focus on Key Stage 2 teaching.
* Demonstrate a deep understanding of special educational needs and showcase adaptability in addressing the diverse learning requirements of Key Stage 2 students.
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering seamless collaboration with colleagues, parents, and stakeholders.
* Exhibit patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the individual needs of every Key Stage 2 child, including those with dyslexia, dyscalculia, EAL, and ESOL.
Location and Hours: Located in the vibrant community of Edmonton, our school offers a supportive and collaborative environment where educators can thrive. This full-time position entails working hours from 8:15 am to 3:30 pm, providing ample opportunities to make a positive impact on young learners' lives.
