Your Role

Teach Biology across KS3 to KS5, with a focus on preparing students for Oxbridge and Russell Group university pathways
*
Lead curriculum planning and innovation within the Biology strand of the Science department
*
Oversee assessments, track pupil progress, and implement strategic interventions where necessary
*
Support the Head of Science with departmental leadership, staff mentoring, and external partnerships
*
Contribute to extracurricular science opportunities, including medical societies, fieldwork trips, and science fairs
Ideal Candidate
*
Biology graduate with QTS and experience teaching across all key stages
*
A proven track record of excellent teaching and a strong understanding of the curriculum and current pedagogical trends
*
Experience supporting or mentoring colleagues or involvement in departmental improvement
*
Able to lead by example, inspire young scientists, and foster academic excellence
