Manufacturing Engineer

Salary: £40,000 £50,000
Were looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing Operations Engineering team in Southampton. This is a fantastic chance to be part of a new and developing team, where youll have real scope to shape processes, drive improvements, and grow your career.
Youll work closely with production teams and R&D, supporting day-to-day operations, introducing new products, and delivering key improvements across yield, quality, and efficiency. Experience in fibre processing is welcome but not required full training will be provided where needed. What matters most is your solid background in manufacturing engineering and your drive to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
What youll be doing:
1. Supporting production equipment, ensuring effective service, repair, calibration, and TPM activities.
2. Leading problem-solving and root cause analysis to deliver corrective actions.
3. Driving process improvements across value streams to boost yield, efficiency, and quality.
4. Supporting lean manufacturing initiatives and contributing to continuous improvement projects.
5. Handling documentation control, data analysis, and reporting on KPIs.
