About apprenticeships at Mears Group:
Apprenticeships are an integral part of Mears’ philosophy; we are committed to developing the next generation of our workforce. Many of our most senior staff started their careers as apprentices.
Whether you are fresh out of school or college or looking for a career change, Mears offers a solid foundation for your future and beyond.
All apprentices are paid above the national minimum wage, and you’ll be paid for your normal working hours plus college attendance. You will gain real-life experience working in people’s homes, engaging in community projects, and making a positive impact by being customer-focused.
What does a Bricklayer role involve?

As a Bricklayer, you will learn to lay bricks, blocks, and other building components in mortar to construct and repair walls, foundations, partitions, arches, and structures like chimney stacks.
