The Opportunity
We are looking for an energetic and creative Librarian who can help maintain a strong culture of reading. The library is a central place at Trinity, setting the tone for our focus on reading as a key to student success. Working closely with Middle Leaders and our Head of English, you will be instrumental in developing the library to support our curriculum and promote a love of reading throughout the community.

About You
You will have a passion for developing young people as readers, demonstrated either through experience as a librarian or a willingness to learn library management. You should be an organized, systems-driven individual who can relate well to students. Knowledge of YA literature and the ability to guide students to suitable reads are essential. Most importantly, you must care deeply about young people, especially those who are disadvantaged.
Salary: SCP 22 - 26, 18.75 hours, Term Time Only plus 2 weeks (times and weeks to be negotiated). FTE £29,224 - £32,394. Actual salary £13,094 - £14,515.
Contractual Hours: 18.75 hours per week. Flexibility in working pattern can be discussed at interview. The role is term-time only plus up to 5 days of holiday work.
Basis: Permanent.
