We are looking for a passionate Front Desk Manager to join our team at London Marriott Hotel Kensington. This role involves assisting the Front Office Manager in managing front office functions, supervising staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maximizing departmental financial performance.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing daily operations to meet quality standards and customer expectations.
* Developing goals and plans to prioritize and accomplish work.
* Handling complaints, disputes, and conflicts effectively.
* Supervising staffing levels and ensuring effective communication within the team.
* Leading, influencing, and encouraging team members, demonstrating integrity and professionalism.
* Providing exceptional customer service, addressing guest needs, and resolving issues promptly.
* Implementing customer recognition programs and monitoring adherence to policies.
* Supporting HR activities such as training, mentoring, and recruitment.
* Performing all duties at the Front Desk as necessary, including running shifts.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in guest services or related area, or a 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management or related field.
