CK Group are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer (electro-mechanical), to join a diagnostics company, working in the Tyneside region, on a contract basis for 12 months. Salary: Per Day: £200 - £250 PAYE or £265 - £330 Umbrella (Inside IR35). Field Service Engineer Role: Provide frontline support across various analytical systems Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues Minimise unplanned downtime of laboratory equipment Deliver applications and IT support Conduct training for laboratory staffYour Background: Degree, HNC/HND in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent demonstrable experience Thorough, up-to-date understanding of the IVD industry Solid experience in implementing best-in-class support Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities Resilient and tenacious, able to thrive under pressure Growth mindset with ability to use agile techniques Full UK/EU (or equivalent) driving licence and own transport,Company: Our client is a global pharmaceutical company with a major presence in the UK. Location: This role is field based, covering 3 sites in the Tynecastle area, however we do require someone to be based within a commutable range to the sites.
