We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join a precision engineering company in Leicester. This role plays a vital part in ensuring products meet the highest standards of accuracy and compliance for both machined and fabricated components. Key Responsibilities Carry out in-process, first-off and patrol inspections of machined and fabricated parts Work in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standards Use a range of manual and digital inspection tools such as micrometers, verniers, gauges, callipers, and height gauges Read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications Conduct goods-in and visual inspections with high attention to detail Assist with calibration and control of inspection and gauging equipment Support a culture of continuous improvement and excellent housekeeping Collaborate effectively within a small, experienced inspection team Desirable Experience Proficiency with CMM equipment Previous weld inspection or fabrication experience Prior experience in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment Ideal Candidate Strong technical background with an eye for detail Ability to work across shifts as required Excellent communication and teamwork skills If youre an experienced Quality Inspector looking for your next opportunity, wed love to hear from you.
