An exciting opportunity is available at 2a Court Road for a Service Coordinator position to help shape, inspire and lead a team as well as positively impact and make a difference to the lives of the People We Support. We work with individuals with complex needs and are a large and very busy 15 bedded residential service. The successful applicant will need to be enthusiastic, to adapt quickly and lead a diverse team in different and difficult situations. We are looking for someone who is organised, pro-active, can multi-task and work on their own initiative, proficient in IT systems (or quick learner!), as well as working in a person-centred way. The successful service coordinator will include overseeing care packages for PWS (liaising with professionals and families, creating and updating support plans and risk assessments, etc), line managing staff (including but not limited to supervisions, role modelling, wellbeing check-ins, following policies and protocols, etc,). You would be working as part of a large team and leadership team so good verbal and written communication is essential. Other essential skills include the capacity to hold boundaries, yet meet individuals with empathy, and the ability to have difficult conversations while creating good working relationships with colleagues. The position is full time, worked over 5 days and will require you to work regular weekends. You will be based at 2a Court Road, however an element of the position will require you to be able to get to other locations for training, meetings, etc. Experience in a leadership role is not essential; if you have the skills identified within our advert to bring to the post, you will be considered. Support and training will be available. Here at Milestones Trust we recognise that without the hard work, commitment and passion of our staff, we wouldn’t be the charity we are today.
