Family Lawyer Location: Middlesbrough Job Type: Full or Part time Salary: Competitive Reed are working with a local family-run firm who are known for the quality care they deliver to their clients. The firm specialises in Criminal Defence and Family/Children Law and are looking for a Family Solicitor to join their team. They are committed to staff development and are currently looking for a Family Lawyer to manage publicly funded family law matters, with a particular focus on Care and Child Protection cases. Day to day of the role: Managing your own caseload in family law matters with a particular focus on Care and Child Protection cases. Working collaboratively with the Family Team to develop and deliver a high-quality service for clients. Maintaining high standards in accordance with the Legal Aid Agency Family Contract and Specialist Quality Mark requirements. Developing and nurturing internal and external relationships to promote the firm. Required Skills & Qualifications: A minimum of 1 year’s Post Qualification Experience within Family Law is preferred. Excellent working knowledge of Legal Aid and the CCMS System. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Developed advocacy skills. High level of self-motivation and drive. Ability to run and develop your own caseload with minimal supervision. Collaborative approach with a focus on maintaining excellent relationships.
