Position Overview
In season forecasting, trading and future season planning, inventory and OTB management, in order to maximise sales and profitability.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Critically analyse trade reports, and utilise own knowledge to influence forecasting & promotional/MD planning.
2. Influence trade actions that impact Division/channel performance.
3. Drive and optimise line card process and communicate impacts to department KPIs to key stakeholders.
4. Ensure the department is maximising KPI opportunities and minimising risks through successful management of the WSSI.
5. Understand long-term sales plans and translate this into department KPIs.
6. Oversee inventory management process and work cross-functionally to provide solutions to reach end-of-season stock targets and manage costs, communicating KPI impacts to management.
7. Use hindsight assessment to formulate the financial building blocks required for strategic planning.
8. Partner and influence buying counterparts to formulate the department's forward strategy, assessing risks and opportunities with sound solutions.
9. Own the OTB process, influencing buying strategies to meet department KPIs and maximise opportunities.
10. Oversee seasonal markdowns and communicate effectively with stores.
11. Utilise knowledge of brand positioning and market analysis to shape future strategies.
12. Conduct regular store visits and competitor reviews.
13. Adopt a positive and proactive approach to personal and team development.
14. Collaborate with key stakeholders on cross-functional projects and process improvements.
15. Coach and train team members, review progress, and promote team wellness and psychological safety.
16. Lead and delegate tasks confidently within the team.
17. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, informing and collaborating on strategies and business goals.
