The Governors of Roch CP School seek to appoint an outstanding Headteacher to lead our successful, happy, inclusive school.
The successful candidate will need to be:
An enthusiastic, inspirational, innovative leader with proven teaching and management skills
A person who can demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
Committed to maintaining our current ethos, high standards and continuous improvement
Enthusiastic about nurturing the partnerships between pupils, parents, staff, governors and the wider community
Able to develop and implement a clear vision for the ongoing development of our school in accordance with the principles of the curriculum for Wales.
Be able to demonstrate strong pedagogical approaches as there is an expectation that the headteacher will undertake a teaching commitment.
A knowledge of ALN processes will be essential.
Our school is situated in a thriving and welcoming rural setting just outside the Pembrokeshire National Park. It is overlooked by an historic castle and is within walking distance of a Blue Flag beach which is a popular location for all watersports enthusiasts. The school proudly involves itself in all aspects of community life.
The school has an enthusiastic, talented and dedicated team of staff, and is supported by our excellent, committed Governing Body. We strive to ensure that all pupils receive the best possible start in life and develop as ambitious, capable learners.
