Bright Purple is working with a fast-growing technology company developing a genuinely life-saving medical product. Theyre now moving from early concept into alpha prototype and detailed design, and theyre looking for an Electronics Engineer who wants real ownership, real impact, and real technical challenge.
Youll be joining a small, highly capable team of two who span hardware and firmware, at a pivotal point where your design decisions will directly shape the product that goes into manufacture and ultimately into clinical use.
Youll be an experienced Electronics Engineer whos comfortable taking responsibility and making decisions, rather than just executing someone elses design.
Essential experience: Degree in Electronic Engineering (or equivalent practical experience)
At least 2+ years industry experience
Strong proficiency with Altium Designer, CAD software, or other PCB design technologies
Excellent debug skills and confidence working in the lab
Understanding of EMC and safety compliance
Experience with DFM / DFT
Comfortable with soldering and rework
Hands-on use of lab equipment (oscilloscope, signal generator, VNA)
Nice to have (but not essential): Medical device development experience
Exposure to ISO 14971 risk management
Familiarity with IEC 60601-1 and related standards
HF / RF design experience
Tools such as Keysight ADS
Firmware experience, particularly with ST or Nordic Semiconductor
