Job Description
As the Logistics Manager, you will,
3. Manage and develop the team to support daily logistics operations, ensuring best in class customer service
4. Review the current processes and logistics network, implementing positive changes where appropriate.
5. Review the current use of 3PL (transport) providers, focusing on cost, service, and location, to optimise the network
6. Support the adoption of the new TMS, removing transactional activity
7. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
8. Build strong working relationships internally to ensure the organisation meets its objectives
The Successful Applicant
A successful Logistics Manager should have:
9. A strong background in logistics ideally supporting a manufacturing operation with its UK fulfilment
10. Proven managing 3rd party transport providers, and tendering
11. Strong leadership skills, building high performing teams
12. Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
13. Proficiency in logistics software (TMS) and data analysis tools.
14. Capable of supporting a complex multidrop operation
