Headquartered in Portsmouth, Virginia, Envision Lead Grow, Inc. (ELG) is a nonprofit organization inspiring individuals to become entrepreneurs. Our vision is to transform communities of poverty into communities of prosperity through the promise of girls and women. Since inception in 2016, our programs have reached more that 2,200 girls in 48 states with the support of over 12,000 local volunteer hours. Those graduates have grown businesses while also finding their way through college and career paths, as we continuously provide programs and services giving life to economic empowerment for women of all ages.
Responsibilities
* Develop detailed program and project plans, timelines, and resource estimates to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
* Plan, coordinate, and manage youth education programs, including school-year workshops, mentorship activities, and the annual summer camp.
* Monitor progress, track milestones, and prepare outcome, impact, and performance reports for leadership and funders.
* Serve as a primary point of contact for up to 250 middle and high school students, parents, mentors, and partners.
* Facilitate communications and collaboration among staff, volunteers, and community partners.
* Build and maintain relationships with schools, agencies, and funders to expand program reach.
* Manage up to five part-time team members.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree (Master’s ) in Education, Nonprofit Management, Social Sciences, or related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience managing programs or projects of moderate complexity, including planning, scheduling, tracking, and budgeting.
* Proven experience in youth education program delivery, curriculum development, and/or summer camp management.
