We are seeking an Events Planner for The Mandrake to join our Sales and Events team. You will be responsible for coordinating bespoke events liaising alongside our Senior Groups and Events Manager and our Groups and Events Manager. This role involves working closely with all departments but specifically events and food and beverage, liaising with internal departments to ensure each event is flawlessly delivered.
The Events Planner is responsible for supporting the Events Team in confirming client contracts, requests and planning for events and groups. Identifying and building relationships, managing event bookings from inquiry to execution, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the process. You will support the sales process from initial inquiry through to post-event follow-up, creating tailored experiences that reflect our hotel's unique brand and vibe.

What youll do?
* Collaborate closely with the Events, F&B and Operations teams to ensure smooth planning and event execution.
* Conduct site inspections and walk-throughs with clients.
* Create tailored proposals and contracts in line with client requirements and hotel pricing policies.
* Maintain accurate records of client interactions, event details, and sales activities in the hotels CRM system.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitor offerings, pricing strategies, and market trends.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and third-party vendors.
* Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
What we are looking for?
* 1-3 years of experience in sales or events coordination within the hospitality industry.
* Proven track record of meeting sales targets and building client relationships.
* Knowledge of hotel event spaces, F&B services, and event logistics.
* Familiarity with sales software and CRM tools is advantageous
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
* Creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box to create memorable event experiences.
* Knowledge of current industry trends and competitive landscape in Central London is beneficial
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
