Elderslie GC is a thriving diverse golf club situated in the village of Elderslie. The club was formed in 1909 establishing a strong relationship with local communities. We have a wide membership including ordinary members, midweek members, junior members and social members. The club has recently changed to a limited company with a strategic goal of growth through membership retention and grasping opportunities to a club ideally situated on the main Street at Elderslie. An opportunity has arisen for an administrators job, the role offers a diverse range of responsibilities throughout the club.

Golf Club Administrator.

Main Job Scope:
* Partner with the Board, Captain and committee to advance strategic priorities, ensuring timely preparation of committee papers and completion of follow-ups.
• Undertake general office duties including responding to correspondence, answering the phone, taking enquiries efficiently and handling members day-to-day requests.
• Maintain the provision of office services for the golf club including membership details by using existing databases, primarily Club Systems V1 but also Scottish Golf CDH and BRS.
• Maintain a visible presence among members, recognising their diverse interests and expectations.
• Ensure full compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory obligations.
• Maintain a system for the processing of applications for membership and systems for keeping accurate records of membership.
• Deal with all membership enquiries & be involved in the preparation of the annual subscription's renewal process.
• Assist the professional with booking arrangements for visiting golf groups using BRS.
• Assist with the maintenance of the club's fixtures and events diary.
CORE COMPETENCIES & SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE
* Deep understanding of the dynamics and expectations of a private members' club.- Strong financial oversight and a clear understanding of effective budget management.- Confident and personable, with the ability to engage well with a broad membership and visitor base.- Strategic thinker, capable of supporting the Board, Captain and committee.

* Will be expected to learn the club's core management systems, e.g. Club Systems V1, BRS, Scottish Golf CDH and Sage payroll and become proficient in using them. This is essential.
* Must have good I.T. skills and a full knowledge of MS Office
Liaison:
You will have regular contact with members, other staff and club officials. You will report to the Captain
Hours of work:
Contractual hours will be 20-35 hours per week with the precise timings to be agreed by the successful candidate. Flexibility in working hours will be required at busy times.
Contract type/Salary:
Permanent, negotiable dependant on experience.
