Location: High Wycombe & Chesham, with travel across our operating area (Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire)

Were now looking for a skilled and confident Electrician to join our Repairs & Maintenance team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working independently and take pride in delivering excellent customer service, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact.
About the Role
As an Urgent Repairs Electrician, youll respond to emergency and reactive electrical issues in our customers homes. Youll diagnose faults quickly, carry out safe and effective repairs and aim for a first-time fix wherever possible.
This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy and problem-solving. Youll work mostly independently, with occasional support from colleagues for larger or more complex jobs.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to urgent and reactive electrical repairs across our homes
Diagnose faults quickly and carry out safe, compliant repairs
Aim for first-time fix wherever possible
Work independently, managing your own workload and priorities
Maintain accurate records and complete all required documentation
Represent SettleParadigm professionally and courteously at all times
Ensure all work meets current regulations and safety standards
Keep your van stocked, tools maintained and equipment in good order
Optionally participate in out-of-hours work (voluntary, not required)
What Were Looking For
Must haves:
City & Guilds 2365 or equivalent qualification
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Experience in housing repairs, maintenance or similar environments
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Basic understanding of Health & Safety legislation
Full UK driving licence
Nice to haves:
City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing
Full clean licence
