About the Role
We are currently seeking a passionate and fully qualified Maths Teacher to join a range of well-established secondary schools across Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a meaningful impact within dynamic and diverse school settings.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 in some schools. The role involves inspiring students, raising attainment levels, and supporting learners of all abilities to achieve their full academic potential.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and effective Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Teach across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable)
* Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback
* Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including SEN and high achievers
* Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
* Support students in achieving strong GCSE (and A-Level where applicable) outcomes
* Work collaboratively with department staff and contribute to curriculum development
* Participate in school events, parents’ evenings, and professional development activities

Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Degree in Mathematics or a related subject
* Experience teaching Maths within a UK secondary school setting
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for delivering high-quality education
* Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
* Ability to engage, motivate, and challenge students across a range of abilities

Desirable (Not Essential)
* Experience teaching GCSE and/or A-Level Maths
* Familiarity with the Liverpool education landscape
* Experience supporting intervention strategies to raise attainment
* Use of innovative teaching approaches or technology in the classroom
