Objectives / Scope
As a Machine Operator you will set up and operate the cable manufacturing machines to produce components and cables according to job‑sheet specifications. You will continuously monitor the process to ensure the highest quality and customer satisfaction. You will liaise with customers during factory visits as required. You must be organized, detail‑oriented, possess mechanical understanding, and be a self‑starter who thrives on problem solving and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up and operate cable manufacturing machines according to specifications and plans.
* Maintain accurate machine and production records.
* Monitor manufacturing progress and report any inconsistencies or failures.
* Train new staff on machinery when required.
* Communicate verbally with customers during factory visits.
* Collaborate with the Product Assurance team on quality matters.
* Adhere to a strict housekeeping policy.
* Assist with training and product awareness for other staff.
* Comply with equal‑opportunity and environmental responsibilities.
Qualifications & Experience
* Mechanical experience or similar role preferred.

Work Conditions
