Description
* Prepare and review statutory accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients in compliance with regulations.
* Conduct and oversee audit assignments from planning through to completion.
* Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial reports.
* Supervise and review the work of junior team members, providing support where necessary.
* Maintain strong client relationships and handle client queries professionally.
* Ensure compliance with audit and accounting standards.
* Provide support to clients regarding tax matters and financial planning.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes within the department.
Profile
A successful Audit and Accounts Senior should have:
* Professional accounting qualifications such as ACA or ACCA, or equivalent.
* Proven expertise in audit and accounts preparation within accountancy practice.
* Strong knowledge of accounting standards and auditing regulations.
* Experience in managing client relationships effectively.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to supervise and mentor junior staff members.
* Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
