The role
Counterbalance & Reach Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative
Location: Coleshill, B46
Salary: £15.00 - £15.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Sunday, 10:00 18:00 / 18:00-02:00 (0.5 hour unpaid lunch break)
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Driver to join our busy warehouse team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating both Counterbalance and Reach trucks safely and efficiently, while also supporting general warehouse operations as required.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years' experience operating both Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Trucks
Valid Counterbalance and Reach Forklift licences/certificates
Full UK Driving Licence
Previous warehouse experience
Good understanding of health and safety procedures, proven adherence to H&S procedures in a warehouse environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities
Operating Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently
Loading and unloading vehicles
Moving stock throughout the warehouse
Putting stock away and replenishing pick locations
Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
Conducting stock checks and inventory counts
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
Following all health and safety procedures
Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
Good communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
