Job Description
3. Process invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely entry into the accounting system.
4. Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and reconciliations.
5. Support the finance team with payroll and expense management tasks.
6. Maintain organised financial records and ensure compliance with internal policies.
7. Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and other regulatory filings.
8. Handle supplier queries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
9. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
10. Provide general administrative support to the accounting and finance team as needed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Assistant - 12m FTC should have:
11. Previous experience in a similar finance or accounting role within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
12. Familiarity with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
13. A strong understanding of financial processes and attention to detail.
14. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
