About the role of Technical Coordinator
You will be responsible for technical support and delivery of residential schemes within this business's southern region, ensuring projects are completed on budget, to quality standards, safely, and with motivated teams. You will also ensure compliance with the quality management system and other company procedures.
Responsibilities of Technical Coordinator
* Promote health, safety, and environmental issues in line with company policy.
* Control the quality of drawn information and address non-conformance issues.
* Deliver design packages on time and accurately, producing reports to monitor progress against the design programme.
* Mentor trainees and oversee Technical Coordinators on multiple projects if required.
* Ensure all consultant appointments (including scope of works, payment schedules, and collateral warranties) are signed before payments are made.
Requirements for the Technical Coordinator role
* Relevant professional qualification (Degree, HNC/HND, NVQ Level 5).
* Chartered membership of a recognised professional body (e.g., RICS, CIOB, CIAT, RIBA).
* Pro-active management style with the ability to manage and coordinate design teams on challenging sites.
* Effective people management skills, including giving feedback, support, and coaching.
* Skills including assertiveness, decisiveness, flexibility, good time management, organization, effective meeting participation, and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
